At seven years old, Jill began mimicking yoga poses from Swami
Vishnudevananda 's book.. She began her studies with Diana DeSimone, and
was asked to teach Yoga in her progressive high school. Tina Grumme was
her teacher in Paris while studying art there her junior year of college. She
studied with Jana Surkankova in Boston. Helen Sia, her teacher on Martha's
Vineyard recommended BKS Iyengar, and after three compression backbone
fractures, the loss of two inches in height, and a year in a body cast, Barbara
Benagh, Patricia Walden, Kofi Busia, Donna Holleman, Gabriella Giubillaro,
Angela Farmer guided her to BKS Iyengar. In 1988-89 Jill studied with him in
India. She returned once to Tiruvanammalai and once at the invitation of Biki
Oberoi to exhibit her India paintings at The Oberoi Hotels. .Each visit has
increased her knowledge of all aspects of this ancient discipline, including work
with a variety of masters. Jill has participated in six Vipassana ten day silent
meditation retreats .Jill studied Kundalini with Gurumeet, Mindy Galamaga and
is certified in Kundalini as taught by Yogi Bhajan by Deva Kaur Khalsa .

Jill has shared Yoga with corporate heads, a rockstar, an
astronaut, handicapped persons, children, drug addicts, elderly
people, even a king, but mostly just regular folks, at home,
churches, schools, spas, clubs, corporations, gyms, and privately.

Jill is certified in Kundalini Yoga, as tuaght by Yogi Bhajan.
